The Receptive
The receptive is the yin principle, quiet, yielding, open and nurturing. It requires an awareness of the moment, to not act impulsively but to take time, give space and consider the far-reaching effects of any action that might be taken. Recognize that for now one’s energies are best used in serving others or simply maintaining a quiet alertness. Develop an intuition about where and with whom to invest your time. Lao-Tzu says in ones absolute emptiness, the receptive (Divine Mother) is eternally birthing all things. The essence of emptiness is present within each of us, and like a blank slate receives whatever we write upon it.
