Image 2: BigBird…Begins with the same basic background image, posted below as the third. The other elements were simple. The first image is the same hipstamatic shot with chickens added. The seagull was taken in Mexico, quite a willing subject. The staff of light shown here twice in third image, once in the center and once on the side was manufactured from a piece of wood but really just reversed the color and erased the sides to make it uneven. This was used all throughout my “Series of Twenty” and represented even then, one’s connection to the earth and the spirit. In that series it crossed many boundaries and became a reminder of the elements that connect us all.The boat with the sail is a composite image I used in my “Not Just For Kids” Series, as was the rowboat picture.
