Life and Death on the Ganga  (Images 1-5) is my attempt to express my emotional reaction to the experience of both being with the daily cremation ceremonies on the Ganga in Varanasi and the morning rituals in the river of bathing and prayer.   The  Ganga celebrates both life and death as both are an integral part of the Hindu Religion.
