These are times of little influence when one’s current path in life has stopped. It’s a time to take care of the details and make repairs in preparation for greater possibilities of influence that will rise later on. It’s the time to work quietly behind the scene. This is life. Each and every one of us has probably encountered this experience due to illness, or the loss of loved ones. After the initial shock, we are presented with a choice and one of those is to begin to embrace a new paradigm, a new dharma.
The person in the center is paying attention to the details of life in all forms, inner and outer. She is listening carefully to what presents itself, examining every detail closely with one eye, keeping a sharp perspective on the prize: healing, love and connection to spirit. There can be no projections of the future nor the desire to return to the old way of being. There is an acceptance that life should not be different than the way it is. One receptive, open hand reaches out of the confines of her world ready to receive whatever may come along. The other hand holds the rose colored bud of hope and love. The woman on the ladder is the connection to the spirit world and stands solidly as a reminder to remain aware of this at all times. The snake around her neck symbolizes healing, transformation and staying connected to life force. The arriving boat will assist in navigating one’s spirit.
