Revisiting Ms. Hepworth….where the iPhone began for me four years ago.
This image was the beginning of my iPhone work. I went to Cornwall, England and decided to only use the iPhone. This room was Barbara Hepworth’s outdoor studio and daybed, captured on my iPhone with Hipstamatic and was the start of a year long series of metaphor’s…what could have possibly happened in this room, what was happening with me. This image is called “The Creative”. It was the jumping off point, filling my mind with so many possibilities. 
“Strange Thing” characters begin to develop. This one is just getting up and embracing the day.
Strange Thing Creates a new piece of art. 
Strange Birthday’s in Black and White.
Ms. Hepworth smoked, which led to her demise. A seemingly random image occurs expressing this possibility, however I am far from finished with this series. I decide I need to bring her back after death.
I reversed the colors to reflect the new perspective and Strange Thing comes back to collect her things from the room. She is moving into a new unknown.
Strange Things Have No Idea: Here are two of them, looking a bit perplexed. It’s “after life” and they are pondering how it is they are going to navigate this new world they have found themselves in.
