I lied yesterday. The dead bird is not quite ready to appear so you’ll have to return later to look for him. I thought it was important to present all the components leading up to his transformation BEFORE he lands on the page. Don’t worry though, transformations are always a good thing and he is really quite beautiful even with his “head in the sand” appearance.
Life is still playful, happy and whimsical. The long, perhaps unrecognizable beak on the left is feeding into the boat/basket of life, providing that proverbial connection that this series continues to express. The seagulls on the right seem to have a mission and are heading towards the “pod” on the bottom.
I would love to hear your interpretations!
