Let’s start with my favorite camera app, Hipstamatic. The following images were made using Multiple Exposure in Hipstamatic. This Multiple Exposure can be used with any app combination you like. There is much to experiment with here. I chose to take two versions of the same landscape but you need not limit yourself with this idea. You can shoot an object and then shoot the landscape or switch it up and shoot two separate objects, deciding on which image is shot first. This will determine the outcome.
Let the camera app create the surprises and save the ones that have interesting components to them. They do not have to be wonderful images on their own but simply have components that you love, surprising colors or shapes. You can next use these to begin a new image.
